Girls who enjoy video games are often called “Gamer Girls”. We are not a new thing, No. In fact, we have been around for years and years. I like to think that we’ve been around since the beginning of video … Continue reading
There are so many things that I love to do, more than chores. But some days chores are just so unavoidable. I have issues with sitting down to read or play a game when my surroundings are messy. Perhaps that’s part of the reason why I love The Sims so much. They walk into a room and if its decor or cleanliness doesn’t meet their standards the Sim’s mood begins to decline. I am the same way. So when my room is a mess, games cannot be played to their full enjoyment potential. I spent this morning and early-mid afternoon cleaning my room. Now I feel super accomplished and ready to play.
Is there anything you just have to do before you can sit and relax?
It’s been a while since I have posted a T-Shirt Tuesday. It has also been nearly 2 weeks since I last posted. Geez, where does the time go? It’ll tell you where it goes: Life. Life sucks up your time like a great void vacuum. I have managed to get some World of Warcraft time in. Nerd Dearest and I managed to reach lvl 90 with our mains, finally! I am so excited, now for the gear we desperately need!
Nerd Dearest is spending this evening at the Nerd Kingdom, so I will be spending time with the kids, then after they are in bed World of Warcraft, maybe some wine or popcorn. I know it’s kind of random. I am hungry but dinner will happen sometime after Nerd Dearest arrives home, which means late. Ahhh, the life of a game obsessed Nerd’s Wife. However, I suppose this one is all me. I try not to let the games consume my life though. Fun though they may be they are no replacement to human interaction.
If it helps any I will admit that I am way behind in my shows that I am trying to keep up with. Including “Doctor Who”. That one makes me want to cry. So to make myself feel better I found a super awesome Doctor Who T-Shirt.
I love it.
How’s life? What has been sucking your life into the great void vacuum?
After a 2 year long absence from World of Warcraft, we have returned. When Mists of Panderia released we were so disappointed with it that we just couldn’t bear the thought of spending the money on the expansion, we also … Continue reading
I have really missed playing WoW lately. The late nights leveling a toon, raiding, healing a dungeon or PVPing with you’re friends. Headset on and let the chaos flow… I always was an Alliance gal. I had a night elf druid that I played the most, Ilthaelyn on the Dark Iron server. We had good times. We stopped playing a little while before Blizzard released the Panderan Monks expansion. We quit due to financial issues but once we saw how much they changed the game play later on, we felt comfort in the fact that we made the right decision for us. I still miss it though!
